Rory C. Farris, M.D.

Biography

Rory C. Farris, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who practices general orthopaedics and has a special interest in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery. A native of Samson, Alabama, Dr. Farris lives in Enterprise with his wife, Liz, and their two children.

Dr. Farris earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama where he received numerous academic awards and scholarships and graduated at the top of his class. He remained at UAB to complete his orthopaedic surgery training. While at UAB, Dr. Farris was involved in clinical research and published several articles in major orthopaedic journals.

Dr. Farris is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, American Medical Association, Alabama Orthopaedic Society, Coffee County Medical Association and the Geneva County Medical Association.

During his time away from work, Dr. Farris enjoys hunting, fishing, running and cycling.
