Benjamin J. Werner, DPM, obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, New York, NY. He completed his residency at the Central Alabama Veterans Administration in Montgomery, AL. Dr. Werner was the Vice-President and Founding Member of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine Dermatology Club. He is Board-eligible in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine. His interest in this field was sparked as a child, intrigued by his uncle’s practice of Podiatry.
A native of Emporia, Kansas, Dr. Werner joined Southern Bone & Joint Specialists in 2004. Common conditions that he treats include, but are not limited to: plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, ingrown toenails, achilles tendonitis, bunions, heel and arch pain. Dr. Werner, along with his wife, Jordan, and their son, Pierce, live in Dothan. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving, fishing, hunting, and collecting coins and artifacts.
