Chris E. Robinson, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement and sports medicine. After 32 years of operating, Dr. Robinson is now a clinic-based physician that practices general orthopedics.
Dr. Robinson received his medical degree and later completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He then became board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and moved to Dothan where he has practiced since 1992.
Over the past 33 years, Dr. Robinson has utilized a variety of technological advances in regard to joint replacement and in 2017 he performed the first total knee replacement using the MAKO robotic arm system in the state of Alabama.
In his spare time, Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their three children Jeffrey, Chris, and Beth Ann. He loves being outdoors at their farm.
