Patrick Guin, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who practices general orthopaedics. He has a special interest in in total joint replacement and sports medicine.
He received a degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, but then went on to pursue a career in medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, where he also completed his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency.
Dr. Guin joined Southern Bone & Joint Specialists in 2008 and sees patients at both of our Dothan locations. He particularly enjoys treating conditions of the shoulder and the knee and uses non-operative and open and arthroscopic methods of treatment. Dr. Guin also performs knee replacements utilizing the ROSA Robotic knee system.
Originally from Lanett, AL, Dr. Guin is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and now resides in Dothan with his wife, Lynsie, and their 2 boys, Daniel and Samuel. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and golfing. He also enjoys attending Auburn University sporting events.
