Chris E. Robinson, M.D. is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement and sports medicine.
Dr. Robinson received his medical degree and later completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He then became board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and moved to Dothan where he has practiced since 1992.
Dr. Robinson performs general orthopedic procedures, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, hip and knee reconstruction and performs total joint replacement with MAKO Robotic Technology.
Over the past 25 years, Dr. Robinson has utilized a variety of technological advances in regards to joint replacement and in 2017 performed the first total knee replacement using the MAKO robotic-arm system in the state of Alabama.
In his spare time, Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their three children Jeffrey, Chris, and Beth Ann. He loves being outdoors at their farm.
