Ken Odom, PA


Ken is a board-certified Physician Assistant practicing in Orthopaedic surgery. He works with Dr. Chris Robinson and shares his interests in hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, arthroscopy and sports medicine. Ken has attended several conferences and training seminars in advancements in hip and knee arthroplasty. He has provided sports medicine coverage for multiple local high schools in football, basketball and soccer. He has also assisted with the Downtown Dothan Hoops Classic, Alabama State Games, and the Women’s USTA tennis tournament.

A native of Geneva, AL, Ken earned his Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Wallace College and his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry, American History, and Business Administration from Troy University. He was a member of national honor societies at both Wallace and Troy. He completed his graduate degree with honors in Surgical Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At UAB, he was the recipient of the Albert Purser scholarship for academic excellence. Prior to becoming a PA, he was a Medical Technologist for 18 years. Ken is a Fellow in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery. He and his wife Jill have two adult daughters.
