Dr. Daniel Joiner, DO is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Orthopedic Traumatology. He is experienced and trained in the latest and most up to date techniques regarding traumatic injuries. Dr. Joiner is a Wicksburg, Alabama native and joins Southern Bone and Joint Specialists in 2025.
Dr. Joiner is a graduate of Auburn University and completed his medical degree at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM). Following medical school, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Michigan State (McLaren Oakland) and went on to complete his trauma fellowship at Detroit Medical Center.
In his time away from work, Dr. Joiner enjoys spending time playing baseball, hunting, fishing and playing Fortnite with his two sons.
